Day 10; Paint Your Life

Day 10 of 365 ; Paint Your Life

“Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint you can on it.” ~ Danny Kaye

Paint is a great metaphor for our life and what we do with it. Think of your life as one big giant canvas like the quote above says. Let’s say we just use one color on the canvas, not all that exciting, but the more colors we add..the more beautiful the painting gets … in life we have choices, free will and the option to add things to our life and to take things out of our life, but I think that we should FILL up our canvas with as much paint as possible.

Paint your life in your head. Can you see it? Paint what you want for yourself, paint what you dream, what you envision for your life and for your future. What do you see? I bet it is beautiful.

I have a crystal clear painting in my head right now, and I am am aiming towards throwing even MORE paint onto my life’s canvas in the future, it is a large painting.. and if something in the life that I’ve painted in my mind changes, well then I’ll throw more paint on top of that and continue on to the next colors for my canvas.

Sure… our life’s canvas maybe has some smudges on it, but those smudges will remind us of where we have grown and how far we have come, so don’t erase them.. instead embrace the smudges on your canvas and be thankful for them for getting you to where you are in your life now.

When you think of your dreams and goals, just because you can’t touch them and reach them right now, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t paint those into your life. PAINT them in, don’t wash them off the canvas because you can not see it now, keep it there..if you want it, then believe it will happen, and then………. paint away my friend with all of the colors that your heart desires!!!!!

Some more quotes to think about today;

“If you hear a voice within you saying, ”You are not a painter,” then by all means paint… and that voice will be silenced.~” Vincent van Gogh

“The painter should not paint what he sees, but what will be seen”~ Paul Klee
